I bit off more than I can chew....help

I am supposed to set up a online trading station for a professional trader in his house...2 problems,
the first being a question of displaying different programs on 4 monitors off of one machine. The suggestions thus far are 4 video cards (or 2 dual heads) or a software program called sms(microsoft) that I know nothing about. Opinions?

The second prob is a realtime stock ticker and stock analysis program, I have found quite a few but am wondering what the best of the best is...it does NOT need trading capabilities...
