www.directdeals.com (http://www.directdeals.com)

these folks got this to me in 36hrs

The o/s CD, product code with manual and Windows 98 starts here, MicroSoft boot disc.

The O/S disc has the new full coverage hologram so I'm sure this is legit.

There are a couple of places who "claim" a lower price, but not for the "SE" version or its just a procuct code.

Much better than 2 C notes for an OS http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Ummm, Win2k Pro was just advertised for 80 bucks here recently. We all know memory is cheap right now. We all know NT in any form handles memory far better than 9X. If you are a gamer, tossup to a certain degree. You want an all around solid OS (yeah Linux, Apple phbbbbht), Win2k Pro.
Hasta La Vista Win 9x.
Just my opinion.

I feel good. Purdue students pay $5 for a legal copy of lots of microsoft products like OSs and office. Can't beat that.

5 bucks?
MS was about to juice my entire school of 30,000 (University of Maryland) for 20 bucks a piece for legit MS software...even people who werent use any MS software provided by the college. Most people have Office and Windows already, and the 2% of people who dont and do use it wont acount for the $600,000 dollars that MS gets out of this.
Needless to say, the proposal was denied.

Thats one half million MS aint gettin.

Thanks Richard!
Its really nice to come across a bargain like this. I just went to Directdeals, and bought a copy at $60.00. Isn't this the version that is only supposed to be sold with a new PC?
