Modem string

Does someone know off hand what the command string is so that the modem reports the actual connect speed.

Try going to http://www.modemhelp.org
Then plug in your particular modem and you should be able to find what you need. Init strings are particular to brand and model of modem. Good Luck.

ATWn is the command, where n is 0 or 1 (cant remember which is which), one will display line speed, the other terminal speed.
Beware, I have had to tinker with the 'ini' strings to get some modems to report line speed whatever W was set to.
