As a brother to the MOTORHEAD community, I accept your comments and will use them in consideration of further dealings with both of them.

Today, (tue 31th)I spent 17 min on "Eternal Hold" at Dell

Then, gave up. Another call took about 14 min to get a Live person only to be told that he's never heard of a "saved cart" or a "cart" at all. this was "Terrance"
thanks

Remember this number was "Their number to call"->>

Below is a copy of their description on my e-mail---->>>>>
"" A virtual shopping cart containing customized computing systems
and peripheral items has been saved for your convenience at
the Dell Online Store. The cart will be held on file for
2 weeks to allow for completion of the order.

When I enter my acct info it bounces on me,, no big deal I say, I'll call em..

WRONG, after Terrance I get another wait,, then yet ANOTHER salesman who's never heard of a "Cart"

So,, they give me yet a 4th number to call,,
This person HAS heard of a "cart"
BUT, mine is nowhere to be found..

So I e-mailed them all the info they had sent to me in regards to my order,,

The deal I think is they don't want to HONOR a 800mhz 133fsb system for $450.

Typo, I think,, cuz the deal is now GONE..

OH, well..

Got the PIII 800 in today.

Took a while longer as the M/C was maxxed out http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

But the ole US Post Office was glad to deliver my personal check.

It was supposed to come with 32mb of RAM but instead came with 64mb http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Running great, let ya know if it becomes problematic..
