Well bud.. no!!! I just took about 1 minute to find an Asus K7V/Thunderbird 800/Global Win FOP32 around the net..and I can get that deal for $131+$159+$18 = $308+SH. That's a lot less the $379(with POS heatsink). Contact me at pwagle@nycap.rr.com if you want some more advice. When it comes to finding stuff cheap, I'm your guy. Later

Turns out your link is PC Club, a regional w/ 26 stores. I bought my unboxed 800 T-Bird, boxed Asus A7V, ball-bearing fan (reports RPM and temp) and istall from their store down the street from me. $199, 159, 19, & 85, respectively. Probably not the cheapest, but good 24-hour turn-around on an impulse. Your main choice seems to be mobo...I'm no expert - I'd ask others here. Reviews seem to agree Asus is the one to beat. Your HD may be your bottle-neck if its not an ATA-100. I hear Maxtor is a speed demon w/ 2 meg mem buffer, quiet too. Any ideas guys (gals), I'm ready to buy http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

You might check at NECX online store (NECXDirect) for that motherboard and also look at Techbargains.com for a 30 coupon.
