I don't really use CD-RWs that much. Actually I've only ever used one http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif, even though I have 3 others. The one I have used as my regular backup disk, is Verbatim. I have used it since September of '99. I haven't had any troubles yet. The others that I have are Sony, but since I haven't used 'em, that's not gonna help you much http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

I bought mine at Staples.

I bought a spindle of 100 cdr discs from comp usa for $29.95 (no name)...they work good on my ricoh cd-rw for data...haven't tried mp3....For data I can't tell the difference in the no name and samsung, memorex, imation, etc., and I use all of them a lot...
I know it depends a lot on what your using them for.....

Another 2 cents gone....Ol'Ben

Well....I would do it - if I wanted CD-RWs. I really can't say because of my limited use with the media.

C'mon, some of you other members have experience...

After some troubles duplicating game and music CDs so the copies would work on computer, home and car CD players, I found Verbatim and Kodak to be the best choices - remember that most older players, etc. often won't read a CD-RW, so I'd burn a CD-RW master, then copy to CD-R.

I've done quite a few with Verbatim; copies even work in my 89 BMW stock CD changer.
