Windows ME Special Upgrade for Win 98 or 98SE. Will not work for Win95. Only 98 or 98SE. There is a different version if you have Win95.

Whats the difference between the two upgrades? They both state the to upgrade win 98 but one is special.

ck42866, I believe they are the same thing, just one vendor chooses to call it a special upgrade, but they are both an upgrade to Windows ME, from either Win98 or Win 98 SE, not for Win 95, or Win 3.1.

Thank you very much. Just ordered ME for 40 bucks. I do love Sysopt.

Can you just buy the Win98 ME upgrade outright, or do you have to prove you own Win98 or SE by giving your reg code or something?
