Diamond Modem

I am trying to install a Diamond 56i sp modem for a friend. It has the typical cd install disk. Windows 98 finds a pci serial controller, but I can't find the file on the install disk. I don't have the install pamphlet, and would appreciate any help thanks!!!

What I would do is put the cd in and go into explorer and open all the folders and search for the file that is asked for. Or you could go into find and make the seach specific to the cd's drive and look for the name of the file that way. remember in a case where you are looking it is always better to do it with less such as;
looking for "Windows" enter in "Win," thats the way to do a good search unless you have the actual name of the file. If thats so the enter just the file name not the extention. Have a good one, and remember. Only You Can Prevent Forest Fires!!

Well, I found out that I had the wrong disk! I finally was able to access diamond's (s3) website and find the driver! thanks
