These is so much to do on the computer
and I can never find anything better to do.
I spend more time on it then anything else in the world.
I have no social life. Hehe
Maybe it boring.
Maybe I enjoy doing something productive.
I find it very interesting so much to do
so much to learn. Expand your mind
beyond your imagination.

Lot of luck.
Hmmm. Let's see...
2 slide rules

I see we both are broke by now and only living pay checks to pay check. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
I'll have 0 in my bank account if I am to built one more
I'm obsessed with building PC
Was frustrating at first when you are a newbie but now I am beginning to enjoy it.
Yes I'm capable of building 100 PC or even 1000, problem theres no more part laying around I dig up everything and put them all together.
My online friend was wondering while I was gone for a very long time.
I wanted to do something productive so I rather not play online games. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Well, in the house right now I have four.
K6-2 266
K6-2 400
K6-2 380 (laptop)
PII 300 (laptop).
Kind of funny when you think about it. I have more computing power in my home than existed in the entire world only about twenty or thirty years ago.
More than I have hooked up at any one time.
( I think I have a few given away now...)

Trimmed it down to three in the house. Had a whole wack of old stuff (XT's, 286's, 386's, 486's, and a couple of P-150's - all complete and working) that I recently gave away to a local school. What I got left:
2 K6-3/450's
1 K6-2/400
Going to set up a home network when I get some time. This winter's project will be a Duron or Athlon machine.

Never thought it would come to this, but I honestly have no idea how many I own right now!
Let's see, there's two right here, each of the kids has one, 4 ancient ones in the closet, (or maybe more...), several in the basement running, plus two stack of 'em under the pool table, a couple loaned out...
GEEZ!!!

Well some of you have me beat:
(All built by me except for the Macs)
1 Celeron 333
1 Celeron 400
2 Pentium 60s :-)
1 Cyrix 150 :-(
6 486s
3 386s
2 286s
1 XT !!!!
1 386 Laptop
Here's the kicker:
3 Mac Pluses
1 Mac Se/30
3 Mac LCs
1 Mac Quadra 700
At least a dozen monitors
6 printers
There ya go! any of these computers are running at any given time, but the Celeron 333 and 400 and one of the Pentium 60s are running all the time! I've got the blasted upgrade bug again, so those Celerons might be getting hit! And yes, I love old junk, including Macs, so don't hate me for what I am! :-)

I have 5 working right now going on six. All home built by me. Two I use as serious machines. In other words I don't experiment with software or windows. The other two I use strictly for downloading software and playing with it, and especially for learning windows98 including the registry. I don't care if I have to reload windows, in fact, I have reloaded windows at least 50 times. Though, one of my two experimental machines has Goback on it, so in this case I have reverted my hard drive a few dozen times. Best way to learn windows or any other program is to do just what all of you guys are going like me, running multiple computers. I was glad to see this question posted. For the longest time, I thought I was the only with more then 1 computer. I must say, I have become pretty proficient at windows cause of these extra computers. Anyway here's what I got.
1-P3-550e
2-P2-350
1-Cele333
1-Cele366
My baby is the P3-550e. 384mb pc133, 1-27gb hd, 1-20gb hd, HP CD writer, Iomega zip drive, ATI 32mb vid, SB live audio, 48x CD, hooked up to DirecPC. See ya!!!
AMD K6-2 500
AMD K6-2 380
Intel Pentium 133
TI 486/SX- just thrashed it
thats the systems i have

OH BTW: The good news about having so many PC built is that you have all the time in the world to pefect it before giving it away
remember it could take years to trouble shoot it.
I'm planning on keep these as is, cause
I'm tired of taking it apart say replace motherboard and CPU.
Instead I'm building fourth, fifth, as far as my budget can take me.
My planning are Duron 600 O/C to 900mhz
that would blow away all my K6-2 http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Win_98.. I think everyone would appreciate if you stopped posting topics which have already been brought up. Some several times.
This topic was brought up in another area just days ago I believe.
