Dude, how about an 8X4X32? How about the Plextor IDE 8X4X32 for $189? Plextor makes only about the best CDROM's and CDRW's on the planet. I just got the Plextor CDRW drive, and I love it! I've read about an Acer CDRW8432A IDE INTERNAL CD-RW 8X/4X/32X. It has 8mb buffer. I'll be looking into that one.

I have a Mitsumi CDR-RW,product code.....
CR4804TE(4x4x24),i run NERO burning rom with it and i'd swap it for something else,computer related or not...interested?
