watch out with ICQ

I have the Zone and use flight sim, but have never had that problem.

I have even tested this theory. Last night, I played without having ICQ running. After I had excited out of the Zone, I ran ICQ without any trouble.

I was on the Zone not long ago with ICQ running, and AIM to boot, with no problems. Of course, I do use an older version of ICQ... Even less of an incentive for me to upgrade eh?

As many of you may know, I had been having troubles opening ICQ. It would only open in the systray - nothing else. This happened twice, two days in a row. Each time, I had to reinstall ICQ. It was a pain in the ****.

To solve the problem, I tried to think of what I had been doing when ICQ screwed up. Finally, I realized I had been playing Rogue Spear on the Internet Gaming Zone while ICQ was in use.

The Zone has it's own Instant Messenger. They apparently didn't get along. That is what caused all my troubles.

This is OT, and I apologize, but what name do you use on the zone for Rogue. If you let me know, I'll look for you when I play. BTW - I go by waferdog on there.
