512MB (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=352918531)
Just browsing around turned this up. Not a bad deal. I'd pay $1 a meg for it. Even at $500 it's a steal. You can't find ram that cheap anywhere

The auction has about 5 hours left on it and the high bid is only around $250! I think I just might bid on it

Arrrghh! I wish I had the cash. It's like being offered a 1Ghz system with all the lastest components for $250 but not having the money to pay for it.

You lucky **!
Congrats anyway. Should I assume you will have some ram for sale soon?
Mine won't support 256MB's either.

I wonder if the guy selling it has any idea that fantastic deal you got on the chip. At any rate, congrats. I thought I'd give someone the heads up that might need it.
512MB of ram? It's insane when you think about it. It makes my 128MB looks so insignificant. just imagine having 2 of these chips? 1024MB or 1.02GB of RAM, shessh. Would you even need a swap file with 1GB of RAM?
well... i'm not jealous..... really.... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

its not so much that I need it as the fact that this is a money maker..I know a few server boards that will pay me much more than I paid and still get a good deal so we all win in the end...my board wont take 512 either but its an investment..I have over 2 gigs of memory sitting in my drawer waiting for the sooner or later price rise and we all know it will come
