Is DVD will ever pick up guys?

like Final Vlll will be some 4-5 cds game
that whould be a nice title on DVD.

a ton of game companies are re-releasing multi-cd games, like riven was 6 CDs, it is on DVD. 11th hour was 4 CDs, now 1 DVD. Usualy, they release them on the more popular medium first(in this case Cd, but remember when they released software on disk after CDrom drives were out), then if it is a realy popular title, they figure that releasing it on DVD will be profitable. Remember, DVDs are still more expensive to make, and some companies do not yet have the high volume DVD disk writers. I personaly love stuff on DVD, Riven was a pain in the A*s to switch the CD every 10 minutes. Some games however, like Titanic suck so much no one would pay more than $20 for it, so there would be little profit in DVD.
