CompUSA CD-R deal

Comp USA has a 50 pak (spindle) of CD-R blanks for $16.99 less $12 mail-in rebate.
$5 for 50
2 days only, 4/09-4/10/00

Yeah, they're cheapie's. I just bought 2 paks. "Prime Peripherals" branded, but at least I can't see through 'em!

They've also got Imation 5 pak for $8 w. $8 rebate. Those are good disks.

IMO those are both good deals even if the rebate bombs out.

<edit> Update - Just made a disk-to-disk backup using one of the cheapie's as a test. Works fine, even readable in my old 6X changer.
