Hi, I'm taking the A+ Dos/Win exam on July 17. Does anyone have any recent braindumps? Or if you are about to write the exam, could you send me your braindump? Thanks, I'd appreciate it! So would my wallet!!

So what are you going to do when you are hired because of your "A+ Certification"??? You won't know any of the material. You'll just be fired because you can't do the job. Plain and simple.

Study for the test and when you pass, you'll be proud of your accomplishment.

canuck_mike - try these URLs A+ Core Cramsession (http://cramsession.brainbuzz.com/cramsession/comptia/core/guide.asp) and
A+ DOS/Windows (http://cramsession.brainbuzz.com/cramsession/comptia/os/guide.asp)

Warthog - study is certainly a good idea but this individual is asking for that bit of extra help to bring up his score. There is no need to include comments that may be perceived as derogatory.

Well...from what others have told me, braindumps have the questions and answers to the tests. I thought that would be cheating...

Thanks for the info CMonster! And thanks for backing me up! I know what its like to fail an exam thinking that you "know" everything! Braindumps give you that "extra" bit! And Warthog, no thanks to you!! I've been studying hands on and reading books and checking out websites for the last 3 months. So don't tell me that I don't know anything! Besides, you don't even know me!! later....

Books have the answers to the questions as well. It is just that a braindump has the answer right there for you. I do not consider it cheating as long as this is not the only source of your information. Besides, if one were to study just a braindump they are asking for it when an employer sees what they don't know, so it all works out in the end.

Hmmm, what exactly IS a "braindump"? I am
thinking it is a question/answer key? Or just a Cliff's Notes kind of summary?

I'm sorry, I've just never heard of one until now, and the nomenclature is new to me. Sometimes I am a bit out of touch.

For that matter, I still don't know the correct usage of the adjectives "dope" and "fly"... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

I've never been to one, but from what others have told me it is a website that has all the questions and answers to certification tests.

When I was at school we used to get given test papers from previous years to practice on so I reckon it must be kinda like that. It kind off lets you know what to expect I guess http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif.

As a CNE/MCSE I have used braindumps as a resource, and I have studied tirelessly into the wee hours many a night. As a practice I have always thoroughly completed all the reading and exercises contained in my study guides and study material. I then proceed to the practice questions such as Exam Essentials, Self Test Software, and Transcender until my scores are consistently in the high 90%. Then lastly, I check out the braindump sites, just to see that I have covered everything and there are no surprises. Even with such preparation, every exam has always proven to be a challenge, but I have consistently aced them all. Anyone who taken a Microsoft or a Novell test knows that the questions can be unnecessarily wordy and tricky to the point that the question becomes more of a **** puzzle, than a true gauge of your knowledge. You need to practice the questions to get a feel for the concepts and question formats that you will encounter. Take this out of the equation and even the smartest of individuals have no better than a 50% chance of passing no matter how well you may think you covered the material. However! be warned there is a LOT of misinformation contained at these web sites. Unless you are 100% sure, double check all postings for accuracy. Here's a great site with links that will find you just about any test.

Spend some time there and follow the links to the other sites. This site is Braindump Central, so be sure and bookmark it.

And by the way Warthog my job is very secure.
