Etrade Deals?

Does anyone know of any etrade deals still going on? A few months ago a Micro Center they had a deal with you bought a new computer you could get $400 off if you put $1000 in an etrade account for a year. At that time I wasn't able to do it. Now I can. Thats a 40% return for the year assuming the stock stays even. Does anyone know of any such deals?

Etrade and Microcenter still have a deal going on (I think), but for $300 this time. I barely made it in on the $400 one.

Call 1-800-etrade1 and ask them. They will tell you about all of the deals they are running. Just talk to a new account representative. By the way, you don't have to invest the money. You can just send them the $1000 and leave it in the money market account for the year and let it earn 5%. It beats a savings account. Be careful, though, the people at E-Trade are morons. They have made several errors and my account already. They always admit to it and correct the problems, but I am sick of calling them up and holding their hands while they fix things.
