underclocked - YOU RULE!! Smokin' deal indeed!!! I just ordered the last three (in my area) for a grand total of $470. (about $157. each) DELIVERED!! I got the last 3 in my area, but they go by available stock in your area (I guess) - because the order is sent to a store near you. Great deal! Just follow underclock's instructions and you'll get an untouchable bargain!!! I LOVE YOU, MAN! (just an expression http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif ) THANKS AGAIN!!

why does teh price come in at $50 less than the price they are matching do they beat prices by $50 if you have to pricematch?

I think it was actually about $145. each - but they have a 155% price match - which means if something is $100 cheaper elsewhere, they will match the price & then take an additional 55% of the difference off. Which in this case happens to be another $55 or so. They supposedly only match prices in printed catalogs from other office supply stores. But in their ad, it also says that they will take your word for it.

But this was an untouchable deal!! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I ordered one today. They are out of stock, but you can put it on backorder. They should have some more in stock in 1-2 weeks.
Great deal!

Deal still works as of today. Get yours while they last, I got the last one in my area which has a lot of stores, by the way. Thanks for the info, I was gonna buy one tonight at a much higher price. Saved 100 bucks woo woo !!

Dont let the rep tell you that you have to fax the ad in, like one guy did. He even gave me a long distance number, the goof. I called back and got a lady that called Staples and verified the deal, done in 7 minutes total. Rock on.

I just posted under the message in user-user to, but just had to let you guy know here to. Thanks for the info on the drive. I have been wanting a new one for a long time. I've been burning with a 2x2x6 for a while and it gets slow. Anyway, my drive should be here today and I'm going to be in CD-RW heaven. I bought two of them one for myself and one for a friend. Thanks again, underclocked.

I had the same experience as wyvrn had. I called and the guy said he wanted the ad or something. So I called back and a lady put it right thought. I wonder if we talked to the same person. Anyway can't wait to take it for a spin. lol

I called Office Depot and the guy said that the Staples price was a catalog error and wouldn't match the price. So I hung up on him. Now I'm going to call Staples and see if the price is indeed correct. He may be just trying to screw with me. We shall see.

Speak to women. The guys at Office Depot seem to be grouchy. Or, maybe Office Depot has figured they are loosing a lot of money on this deal and are trying to discourage sales. However, they did state their price match policy and have to abide by it.

I called staples twice and talked to two different women to try and see if there really was an error and they both said that the price for that drive was $249 not $199. That's still better than office depot but not as good as $150. I think after the price match Office depot would have it for about $215.

Staples may have pulled their price for this burner. I understand it was for a limited time only. Sorry ....

What is the difference between a 9100i and the 9110i? The HP site didnt say.

The only difference, typical of HP in these model variations is a bit of software, probably the cd label making program and stuff they include with the 10i. I believe the deal is dead on this one though. He who hesitates......yadda, yadda, yadda http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
