Free NICs in

All of my free NIC cards came in from that deal that was running a few months ago. Just thought I'd let those still waiting that they are still shipping. Anyone get their free TV tuner card?

I signed up about the same time. I signed up for three in a matter of 10 minutes. One and then the other two 10 minutes later. The first one (mine) came about a month ago. The other two just came today. I think I saw the first post that was posted here about it.

dave, no sign of either my free NIC or my free TV tuner. How long ago did you sign up for the free network card? I signed up when I first heard about it (and it had been out a while, I think), about 3 months ago or so.

Well, I signed up on 10/12 for one card. Nothing yet. I then signed up on 11/5, thinking that my first one would never show up. Again, nothing. Grumble. Grumble. No tv tuner card either. Yeah, they were supposed to start shipping them at the beginning on November. Hah! Heck, I emailed and even called the company about the free NIC cards. No response and there's no way in hades that I'm leaving voice mail messsages and staying off the phone hoping they might call in the next epoch. Grumble.

Anyone else notice that the free NIC deal isn't there anymore? I just get a purle/blue screen.... It's not listed on the homepage anymore either.

Yeah, roughly 3-4 weeks ago, I went to the site and got that same dead screen. And to tell you the truth,I NEVER saw the promotion listed on the main page either. It wasn't there when I signed up on 10/12 or any time after that. But I am getting ticked off. Someone said that they called and the fellow checked the computer and sent out a nic. However, everytime I call the 1-800 number I get some worthless voice mail. Grumble. I'll try again this week. I'm gonna start raising caine in a bit here.

Hello, I got my NIC but guess what? On newyears eve I went to a buddies place to participate in a Lan party and my NIC wouldn't work. Guess the point of this message is to let you guys know *****!!!!YOU AIN"T MISSING NOTHING*****!!!! This card is a peice of ****!

I do remember seeing a link to the free NIC on their home page. It kind of blended into everything else, but it was there.

I haven't even installed mine yet. I use BNC connections, so I can't use it on my home network. I'm saving it for when I get an xSDL modem... eventually...
