Has anyone received the tv tuner card?

So, has anyone actually received the tv tuner card yet? Folks have been getting the free network cards in the past weel or so, but I haven't heard anyone say they received the tuner card which came about before the network card... Of course I haven't received anything yet, not even the network card. Grumble.

I went to their site and read that the cards where started to be shipped nov.1st. Also they said that the sooner you applied the faster you get the card. I think they are only sending a certain amount, so first came first serve /forum/frown.gif

Alzarius, you're not alone.. I haven't received mine too.. Not a NIC, not a TV tuner card.. /forum/frown.gif So I guess it was just a hoax, just to sell our names, address and telephone numbers to other companies.. /forum/frown.gif so sad!

The TV tuner should arrive after a month they begin sending them... so if Death To Mel read that they were started on nov 1st then wait for it around dec 4 or 5... well that is the time I had to wait for the NIC.

Well, it's been about a month. So, do we have any good news about these tv tuners yet? Anyone get theirs? Not like I've even gotten my NIC yet, but...

Not yet... funny I friend of mine gave me for free a TV Tuner Combo card http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

I suppose the TV Tuner Combo card also doubles as a video card? I guess that's why wants to be the primary card. Well, at least this free one should be TV only and we shouldn't have that problem. Unless of course they lost their minds and designed a 256 Geforce card with a tv tuner in it. Then I'd be happier. Haw!

X-Mas is getting close and no peep from the TV Tuner yet...

Anyone knows when it should arrive? Or everybody have gave up hope on it?

They claim they were going to start sending them out at the end of October. I find it less than surprising that there has been NO update or "We've begun shipping!" notice. Matter of fact, the page looks exactly the same as when I first signed up. There are no message boards, no updates page, no nothing. The news page hasn't been updated since September with a press report. I remmeber a few folks here saying that they were going to order the tv tuner. Did anyone get those either? Oh, and I still haven't even gotten my free NIC(over 2 months now) Luckily I won't be out in the cold as a kind soul here decided they didn't want theirs and is sending it to me. Free offers despise me. They never show up. None of them. I've signed up for mouse pads, free phone cards, even a free salsa recipe. Not a thing showed up. Bah!

Pretty strange the NICs you ordered haven't arrived yet... I got mine in a month or so, but 2 months seems like way too much.

Anyway if the TV Tuner never arrives what would be of the "supposlly" free monitor that would be shipped on March 2000?
