Ok, these cam out a few years ago, I just got one fro $15, and I would say it is worth every penny of $40, more even. I have not lost a race in any of my racing games since I got it, Quake 2 is awsome, and music with base is magnificent! I upgraded the cord to the cushin from the controls to 16guage wire, other than that, it is prefect out of the box. Playing driver, I felt like I was in a real muscle car!
