Well, I bought a 10/40x Pioneer DVD for the same price from Onsale.com (the Auction) a while back. Shipping bumped it up to $91 for the drive. For those considering this, ya might want to check out the Onsale auction to see what they're currently going for.

You can even get a slot-loading one for not too much more.

I saw the slot loading 10x/40x on www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) for $91 I lasy recall. The model number to search for for the slot loading 10x/40x is Pioneer 104s.
