You can try motherboard monitor, not sure of the link.It was posted here once before.I think motherboard monitor is free????????
I have "win check' which will check all functions of the pc, but the cost is around
$65.00

Thanks people, but I was referring to an actual card that will diagnose PC problems.
I am starting out as a tech and I was told there are certain devices (cards) that can be patched in to check all hardware, Much like putting your car on a scope at the shop.
Any suggestions ?

I believe you're thinking of the POST Mortem Diagnostic Board, a card that physically attaches to your motherboard to diagnose it. There's a description of it here POST Mortem (http://sysopt.earthweb.com/deadmb.html)

Best wishes in your new profession! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
