I thought that i saw someone post that they had "modified" freeinet, so those darn banners would go away. I did a search, but nothing came up. Please help.

try this, no banners at all. http://www.freewwweb.com and not to get to illegal stuff, if you had netzero v.2.2, that was crackable, to take off that banner.. after that u don't have to upgrade to those bannered netzeros again. It's also MSN quality... Oh yeah, the downside is that you cannot make new accounts since those things are Zcast driven.

Actually, try http://www.freewwweb.com/ The first link posted was missing a "w" in the middle.

Install Freeinet software. Get the local dial up numbers for your area. Then go to dial up networking and make a new connection using the dial up for you area. Use that dial up. That's all there is to it. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Then if you choose, you can delete the Freei software.

Concerning freewwweb, what is the access number you need to use the service? It mentions something about getting it from your dealer, but I have no dealer. I did search the archives, but had no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I apologize. After a little more searching, I found that you use a dealer code only if you received the software from a certified dealer. Otherwise, you use the code FWDL-2.1

Sorry if anyone did any unnecessary research on this.
