I have a dual pentium system that I have installed Red Hat Linux 7.1 on. I have tried to see if it recognizes both processors, but it does not look like it does. I have tried some things that I found in the Linux "How-To" pages, but nothing worked. Can someone help? Should SMP support be automatic, or do I need to change a setting? Thanks for any help.

Try typing dmesg from the command prompt and reading through the messages and look for processor 0 and processor 1...thats how I made sure my dual pentium linux box was working right....
