I lifted this from a Microsoft newsgroup. I thought it might be of general interest to the community.
For your information this is the official information from McAfee concerning
the problems with IE5 and OE5 using McAfee 4.03.

If you are experiencing a browser "IE 5.0" performance issue or Outlook
Express 5.0 would hang or stop responding, this issue may be caused by a
common Windows file, "imagehlp.dll", that was added by installing VirusScan
4.02 or 4.03.
Do a Find for "imagehlp.*" and if you have file with a 4:02 or 4:03 AM time
stamp, then this is a file added by VirusScan. This file is added for a
number of reasons, but it seems that it is causing conflicts with some users
who have installed IE/OE 5.0, and then installed VirusScan. We have yet to
reproduce this issue in testing.
If you find a file "imagehlp.bak" then you can revert back to this file by
removing the file added by VirusScan and renaming the .bak file to
imagehlp.dll.
If there isn't a backup file, then remove the imagehlp.dll file with the
4:02 or 4:03 AM time stamp, and then try either:
1. Re-installing or upgrading to IE/OE 5.0.
2. Installing an IE/OE service pack or the Microsoft Critical Update
notifier plug-in.
3. Extracting "imagehlp.dll" file from the original windows 95/98 of MS
Office CD.
4. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD this file.
Make sure you extract the file to your C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory and
reboot afterward.
Either of these options will re-install imagehlp.dll
