I have a few duplicates that I want out...its getting a little crowded in there....Thx Praetorian 09-03-2001, 10:07 AM If you're talking about the startup folder then just delete the duplicates. If you talking about the taskbar and you want to remove them, open up the program you want to remove and search around in preferences and stuff. Look for something that will disable it to be placed in taskbar. Fingers 09-03-2001, 11:01 AM If they're truely duplicates and not items with the same name (ie two different versions of the same program), just check them all, and Windows will remove the duplicates on reboot. ...or you can manually remove them from the registry. Anything in "RUN" or "RUNSERVICES" will appear with a checkmark in msconfig, and anything in "RUN-" or "RUNSERVICES-" should appear unchecked in msconfig. What are the specific items you want to get rid of? Cruez 09-04-2001, 04:54 AM Thats the odd thing they dont show up in the (*run*) keys at all...but there are still two copies in the startup...one is diabled I did notice that one is referenced from the C: drive and the other is D:...I had uninstalled and reinstalled when I got the new drive. Not at the computer at the moment but I know that the item points to a *OSA.exe file.... [This message has been edited by Cruez (edited 09-04-2001).] Cruez 09-05-2001, 04:55 AM Any more suggestions?
