I have 2 systems with win2k on them. On one of them I get the error "missing file c:\winnt\system32\mapisrvr.exe cannot access a necessary file gapi32.dll.
However, both files are where they are supposed to be: c:\winnt\system32\mapisrvr.exe and c:\program files\common files\system\mapi\1033\nt.
Nortons solution says: gapi32.dll might be located on a nonvisible volume such as an NTFS drive or on a network (it is on an NTFS drive, win2k's, but not on a network). If mapisrvr.exe can't find the file, you might need to re-install mapisrvr.exe.
I've copied it from the good system to this computer, but makes no difference. How would you re-install a system file??? Also, wouldn't it just be in the same situation as now, on an NTFS nonvisible volume? How come there is no problem on the other computer with win2k?
