i didnt know what else to put as the topic.

i have this problem, i have some programs that still exist on the hdd but the program itself is not shown in add/remove in the control panel. usually the program would have it's own uninstalling executable but the progs i cant uninstall have an install.log and the other has an uninst.isu.

im gussing that those 2 files would contain the info needed to uninstall a program fully.

how would i go about doing this?

What I do is reinstall the application to the same directory where it was originally installed and then uninstall it if it shows in the Add/Remove Program list but get errors when trying to uninstall it.

There are certain applications that don't show in the Add/Remove program list but has the uninstall icon located in the directory where it was installed. Have you checked in the folder?

If you have Reg Cleaner installed it has an uninstall feature.

i dont have a programs group for this program so there isnt any uninstall exec and regcleaner doesnt have the program listed.

so i guess i have to reinstall than uninstall.

Try a 3rd party uninstaller like >CLEANSWEEP[NORTON] or MCAFEE's UNINSTALLER........
