Sorry to bother you guys with yet another stupid question but this ones important http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
After I installed win98 and my motherboard drivers, everything worked fine until I installed my soundcard, a Montego a3dxstream. I downloaded a whole crapload of drivers from via and AMD and installed them all, and I still got the blue screen of death when windows started up. So I decided to use my onboard audio.
Now the problem is, those drivers from VIA messed up my mouse driver. If i go into the system: device manager thing, it says It cannot load vmouse.vxd, so I should run windows setup again(??)
I reinstalled windows, got vmouse.vxd, put it in system/vmm32, and It STILL doesnt work!!!
If you guys don't know, using windows without a mouse is a annoying, hard, and sometimes you NEED a mouse to do something(They dont have hotkeys for everything in windows, those bastards).
So how do i get my ps/2 standard mouse working again? and dont tell me to reinstall the driver cuz i did that like 10 times.
