Is there a program that would let me convert a swf (flash) file into a exe file that can be run on any computer? Preferably free.

Not sure what you're after, but a .swf (flash) file must be run under an html browser -- IE, netscape, etc. I've associated .swf files w/Iexplore.exe under View/ Options/ File Types/, so I can d-click a .swf file in Explorer & IE opens it & runs it. Not sure this helps.

I think you can make exe flash movies but I think you need Macromedia's Flash program.!
