Cable modem, how do you fax???

Just got cable in my area. How do you fax with it????

You can't, but you can leave your modem installed and use it only for faxing.

Or you can sign up with one of the Online faxing services. (most have a free trial period) I have tried a few different one's over the last little while and they work just fine. But I do to much faxing so I just bought a stand-alone fax machine for home

I've been using efax for incoming faxes by e-mail, it works great and incoming is free, just sign up. http://www.efax.com

That was IMO, not a blanket statement http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif. It depends on what you're used to, too.

Like mntsnow said there are some online fax services. Some will e-mail a fax to you.
