ASPI in Win2k

I have a problem with my ASPI drivers (for support with ripping audio digitally in MP3 apps). I need to know where the files ASPI32.sys and WOWPOST.exe go. I already put the winaspi.dll and winaspi32.dll in the system and system32 folders. Any help would be appreciated.

I just checked my Win2k systems now and neither of those files seem to exist on any of the Win2k systems.

Yeah, I downloaded a ZIP file that has all of the files. The problem is figuring out where to put the rest of them.

The wnaspi32.dll (notice it is spelled different) file needs to go into the burning programs folder, I have this in both the FireBurner and CDRwin folders. I don't have any of the other files.

What program are you using to rip with?

I downloaded some files from adaptec. One checks the aspi. Two files are included that you copy to the winnt\system32 folder. After that you run aspi update and it corrects the problem. It worked on my 2000 machine. Thanks,

P.S. Just search for aspi on the internet and you'll find aspichk.exe and aspi32.exe along with the two files to put in the folder.

Also I use nero burning rom, and that works fine without the having to manually install ASPI files, but maybe it installs them itself, because those files are on my computer.

I have the ASPI check program, and it tells me that the first two .sys files check out, but the other two don't. I'm trying to use audiocatalyst v.2.0, but I can only rip in analog and it takes too long. I'll check for the "aspi32.exe" on the net.
