i have bought a 20.4 gig western digital caviar hard drive and the shop i bought it from has partitioned it into a 1.1gig a 4.46 gig and a 9.55 gig set of drives, (c-d-e), i was wondering if any 1 knew if this would slow down my pc boot up etc, also is there any programs that can be downloaded to remove (or add) the current partitions?
any help would be greatly appreciated (has windows to scan 3 boot sequences on start up etc etc???) can any1 offer me some advice and some links to such web-pages?

If there is no important data on it then simply fdisk it and remove all partitons and set it up to your liking. Hopefully all one partition if you are using Win 95 / 98. You can use a Windows start up disk.

If there is data on it you can use Partition Magic but I doubt you will find it as a free download.
