Is there a way I can have 2 os's and have a chance to pick from the 2 at bootup?

also i would like to add I have Winblows 98, and want to install Redhat 7.1 on my over Harddrive, will it work, and is it possible

Sure there is. If you install Linux on a free partition..it will install lilo (Linux Loader) which gives you a choice. There is also software out there like system commander that will allow it too. Personally though..I prefer one OS per box.

I see we posted at the same time..yes a seperate HD for Linux makes it even easier..just be sure you install on the right one..and that lilo is added on the install..and you will get a choice on each reboot of which OS to boot to
