I may get one of those costly v-everything modems in a trade please help me ifyou can

I may get one of these in a trade,they go for 200$ on pricewatch............I am getting a good deal for it though...it is us robotics..........or maybe 3com....I need to know if it gets good ping....I do know it is a hardware modem,but I need to know how it performs in games......I know it is designed for business so I am sure it is reliable.........any user input here would be much appreciated,thanks.

I got some V.34 versions and the prefrorm just as well as my USR56k sportster external as far as games go, Downloads though are better on my 56k but hey thats the way its suppose to be..

I would get one especally if your getting a good deal. they ones i have are at least 5 yrs old, we used them for dial in modems at my isp until 56k became more stable then we had to switch equipment and of course employees got some picks :-)

I guess what i'm try'n to say.. get one if your stuck on a standard phone line.

It is one of the Courier V-Everything's right? if so then they are USR's.
