I was considering installing 2000 pro in my system with win 98se on it. they are all fat 32 partitions if i make one of them ntfs and install it ......does win2000 see fat 32 ?
willl i be able to acess all other files or only ones installed on the ntfs partition ?
i know winnt4.0 cant read fat 32 ...was hoping theyve added this for 2000
any help is apreceiated

Win2K works with Fat32 file formats excellently. If you choose too install Win2K to a fat32 partition then both OS's will have access to all partitions but if you choose NTFS then Win2K can use all the partitons but Win98 will only access the Fat16 or fat32 ones. NTFS is a must if you need to support file security permissions ect.
