I currently have in my system 2 windows partitions (a c:\ drive and a d:\ drive both make up 15gb of disk space) and on the remaining 5gb I have mandrake 7.2 installed.!! To make the partitions I used Partition Magic a very cool and easy to use program.! randy48 06-10-2001, 02:45 AM Have Windows loaded first, reboot to the Linux CD and install it. Make sure you enable LILO unless you create a boot disk. LILO will enable you to dual boot between both OSes club_med 06-10-2001, 07:07 AM Ok, thanks for the info. cm. linux_guru 06-11-2001, 12:38 AM Yeah, like randy says, LILO will manage the dual booting for you. You dont need Partition Magic or any other boot managers. If you're dual booting W2K & Linux, the process is a bit more complicated. Do a search for my earlier post on how to do it. club_med 06-12-2001, 01:50 AM I would be dual booting Win98se and Linux. cm. SysOpt.com
