Fellow Members:
I am changing my log-on or "boot screen" in Win98se. Before I get too involved, I thought it prudent to create Win98 Startup Disk. I did so. When I boot from it computer gives options of:
1. With CD-ROM support
2. Without CD-ROM support, etc.
And at bottom, options for Safe Mode, Command Prompt, etc.
I chose "With CD-ROM support," a Ramdrive is created and it boots to "A" prompt. I can then access my partitions (C-G). In an attempt to start Windows, I went to Windows directory and typed Win. Windose would not load, message "invalid Windows configuration, return to Windows Setup." One time I think message read "himem not loaded/missing." Hmm. I've never had this problem making a Startup Disk before.
Any ideas?
Thx!
