Hello one and all, My problems is that my system randomly hangs up ALOT! Doesn't matter where I am at. I have 128 mgs of ram, running at 90% performance, on boot up all memory indicates ok, system fan and CPU cooling fan operating. Any further info needed please let me know. Any and all suggestions, help, ideas very much appreciated!!!!!!! Thanks Gayle

ist step would be to get ahold of Norton Ulilities or a simaliar product that will help you find .dll's or shortcuts that are no longer necessary and may be the root cause.
Another trick is to type msconfig.exe in a run box and select the startup tab. This will show you all the files that startup when you start windows. Try to go bare bones until you find the culprit.
Your problem is common but is solveable with persistance. Also visit http://www.winmag.com and search for files on how adding ram can actually cause slowdown or hangup your system more oftem.

Make sure you have a good power supply. 250 watt is ok.
If you have an Athlon, get a 300 w power supply.
