I am running NT2000 and Partion Magic pro 6.0 242. I am trying to create a Linux partition on a single NT partitioned drive so I can install redhat 6.2. I keep getting the following message on reboot:

xmnt2000 program not found skipping Autocheck.

Once rebooted I find that no changes occured.

What the heck is going on? Is there and easier way to install Linux?

I have exactly the same problem. It is caused when PM fails to install 'xmnt2000'. The solution from PowerQuest is to copy the file from another installation that does have it.
It can be found under WINNT\system32.
Does anybody have a copy of this they can send?

I am having the same problem...I am trying to create a 5-10GB FAT32 partition on my 30GB HDD running Win2000 so that I can transfer my documents while I reformat my primary drive and install Win 98SE...can someone send me XMNT2000.exe so that I can FINALLY do this? Thanks in advance!

I contacted Powerquest support but they never got back to me. However, in the end a tracked down a copy of the file at www.astalavista.com. (http://www.astalavista.com.) In comes in a 'crack' for the product. You'll have to do a bit of hunting...
It frustrating that I have to find a crack for a product I've paid for.
