I'm trying to get ahold of a mid-tower case with side panels, and not a one-piece cover. Anyone have a link or two for companies that have such a case?

Anyone have a link or two for companies that have such a case? OuTpaTienT 06-16-2000, 02:58 PM hmmmm, I just got a mid tower case at my local computer shop. It was the cheapest one I could buy, generic case. But it's still a very nice case indeed, with a 3 piece cover (top and 2 sides). One side even has a finger hole for easy removal. I mention this because if you go searching the net for a specific type of case, you WILL find it...and you WILL pay too much money. Check around at your local computer shops. And I don't mean places like Compumart or CompUSA, I mean the little Ma & Pa shops that frequently repair or build systems. Like I said, the case I got was the cheapest one availble, but still very nice. OuTpaTienT 06-16-2000, 03:02 PM Dude, I just noticed your location. You're in Lafayette? You know where Tower Records is in Concord? The shop I went to is right behind Tower Records across the street. drizzle 06-16-2000, 03:11 PM Lafayette, Louisiana...sorry! Guess I'll search the web some more and see what I can find. Shops around here are NEVER cheaper than the web. That's just the way it goes. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif [This message has been edited by drizzle (edited 06-16-2000).] skywalker[TSG] 06-16-2000, 03:18 PM most shops have a selection of cases i know i do in my shop 40diff cases but only 12 on display and all but 5 are 3part cases they should have them in any shop good job case hunting i would get as large of an case as possible if i were you because then you can add more goodies drizzle 06-16-2000, 03:22 PM The case i have right now is an Enlight Corp case. It's a perfectly good case, it's just that I'd like a 3 part cover so that I can modify it. OuTpaTienT 06-16-2000, 03:23 PM hehe, oooops. LA. duh. Sorry. jad1097 06-17-2000, 01:04 PM A local store here has what you are looking for. http://www.azzo.com/Fcases.html check out the CLIO II. It's not the cheapest though. Inferior 06-18-2000, 12:55 AM I got a 3 peice case at Softwarehouse, just a local computer store. It wasn't the cheapest, but it is still cheap since it is generic, but I love it. It even has these really cool groves on both side panels that make it very easy access! You should definetely be able to get a similar one locally. Dave2 06-20-2000, 07:03 PM I have an Enlight 7237 case that comes with 2 removable side panels. It's very easy to open. I also have an Antec KS282 case that has the side panels but it takes quite a bit of force to open it. It's still a better quality case than the Enlight and also has a better layout. Inferior 06-23-2000, 08:01 PM Oh yeah, and I would just like to point out that that wasn't very specific....... hehehe http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif SysOpt.com
