I didn't on the new install password windows but now I would like to password the computer for only one user. The bios that is in it won;t let me do it so I have to do it through windows.Control panel password will let me multi but not single user. Thank you

Sorry but Win9x (thats what ME really is) DOESN'T provide for security. Either install Win2K (NT) or upgrade your motherboard to one that supports having a BIOS boot password (still not an effective security measure)

A couple of my friends in my dorm are using something called 'Boot Sentry' It doesnt let you in Windows unless you put in the right password. Thier using Win9x OS's.
