I have a 270 MB HDD that i want to put DOS 3.3 on,but when i ran fdisk,everything was fine but evry time i typed C: it would echo C> and then when i tried to type DIR it said not ready error reading from drive c: .Now this happens all the time.What do i do to fix it.NOTE:the drive has three partitions.One is primary and one other is active and i dont know how to delete the other.Ive tried delete secondary partition,but i didnt work.

Using FDISK try deleting the logical drives in the extended DOS partition first. Then delete the extended DOS partition. Then set the first/primary partition as active, and then re-create an extended DOS partition with whatever other logical partitions you want on the drive.

Once that is done, and you reboot, make sure you format the partitions you created so that they are usable.
