Hi there! Anybody know how to set-up the Program folders, accessible through the Start menu, so that they list alphabetically? Mine are in random order and difficult to track.

Click on Start, then programs, Drag and Drop everything to arrange them the way you want them to appear.

Windows Me and 2000 have a re-sort button, but not Windows 98SE and back. Sorry. Manually sorting them like Rat said is the way to do it.

Not true windows 98 se has a sort by name feature. Right click on the menu and you should have the option. If you dont update your windows with windows update.

Thank you for your responses, Rat, Jim9999, and Freaked. The sort feature works. Funny that Microsoft does not mention it in their Win98 help file.

I made category folders in my Start menu and drag and drop is the easiest way to get everything where I want them.
