Considering buying a scanner. Had a HP4100 usb, had problems with errors and performance ( HP's tech support "SUCKS" ), sent it back. Considering Visioneer 6100.
Any imput or recommendations?
PS gotta keep cost down

They're almost giving away the "old" 600x300 models. If you don't need to create huge files (hi res is very hungry) or reproduce beyond average, go for price. I've been seeing them around $50 with rebate.

I have a UMAX 1220P. Nice but much better than necessary for most things.
