Any opinions on this upgrade anyone?
I've been thinking up upgrading but I heard bad things about this particular version.
Have they fixed things up yet?
Thanks!

Netscape 6 is terrible its slower than any thing i've ever used, and I think it looks like ****.

Keep your eyes on www.mozilla.org (http://www.mozilla.org) and www.mozillazine.org (http://www.mozillazine.org)

Yeah, forget NS, but Mozilla 1.0 is bound to be a truly awesome piece of software.

I don't know whether the browser itself is slow, but the server the install files are supposed to come from is _un_reliable and _slow_. I got 0.2kb/sec transfer rate with T3 and it disconnected after receiving ~15kb of info. Thus it took 15minutes to download a 600kb file, and since nerdrape is ~30mb(correct me if I'm wrong) in size I believe they'd have released the next version before I could've downloaded it.
Crappy crappy crappy, leave it be.

It's slow and bloated. Thank god it uninstalled. Bye bye Netscape.

If that's the best they can do after all that time in Beta, then they're spent.

I tried it just for the kick.

6.01 is actually able to install on my system, 6.0 couldn't.

3 little details annoyed me :

- Long start up time
- Inability to minimize download windows
- Can't paste an address in the address bar
