Try linux-mandrake, I think it's the best linux distrubtion out there. www.linux-mandrake.com (http://www.linux-mandrake.com)

Go to http://www.linuxiso.org like waferdog suggested, there you should research the different linux distrobutions and find the one that you are the most comfortable with. If you are new, then I would reccomend a Red Hat based distro such as RH7 or Mandrake 7.2. Anyway's, you will get a much faster download rate from this site than from the main distro provider. Also, what do you use for a connection?
