Not sure what the exact specs are, but it hosts all of EarthWeb's sites (Dice.com, ITKnowledge.com, Codeguru.com, Crossnodes.com, htmlgoodies.com, developer.com, etc.) load balanced with an identical server as well. Lots of power.

Must be one hellavua machine!
Being able to handle mega, mega heavy traffic like that, and probably having a great deal of storage.

Don't they have out the 2mb-L2 advanced transfer(8-way)700mhz Pentium 3 Xeon's out yet?
I thought I saw it on the intel website. Man just imagine those In a Dell poweredge server. Yikes! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I wouldn't mind having that.
I'm glad Sysopt is packing heat under the box http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gifhehe

It's most likely a computer with a Xeon.. or many PIIIs in one. Server computers are cool. I'd build one, but the **** case cost to much. Imagine my gaming power with a Xeon, or 10 Celery 566@1000. Man, that's so cool.
