From where I reside, networks use GSM 900 and GSM 1800 or both. I was just wondering if this is true in the US. I'm asking because i'm planning to purchase it there.
thanks.

Chainsaw 06-18-2000, 04:59 PM It appears that Gsm 900 and 1800 are reserved for Europe, Asia and Australia, where GSM 1900 is to be used primarily in North America and Latin America http://www.ericsson.com/pressroom/gl_g.shtml Perhaps contacting the manufacturer of the brand you intend on buying could give you more info. on what is available and where. c:::CHNsaw dexmax 06-18-2000, 05:42 PM tnx chainsaw. thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't really sure. So that's why when i asked my dad to buy me a 3210 in the states he couldn't find one. instead he found another model of 32XX series. oh well, i changed my mind, i would rather buy locally. thanks again.
