My secondary hard drive (D http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif is faster than my primary (C http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif. Does anyone know how to set it so that the swap file runs off my secondary? Thanks, Chris.

Click right on 'my computer'.Go to performance, click on virtual memory.Choose 'let me manage virtual memory' or something that looks like that. Now you can choose on which drive you want your swap file by clicking on 'c: **** mb free'.

Now you can also set the swap file size yourself. This should be somewhere around the 100 and 200mb,depending on the size of your system's memory.Make the minimum and maxumum size the same size.Doing all this will increase your system's performance.
